Parents- do you ever hit your children when they misbehave?

no I don't, it's not necessary. There are no "last resorts" in parenting, there is always something else you can do, I hate when people use that lame excuse to hit their kids, if you spank your kids and you think it's right then own it, don't be lame and act like you had no other choice. I focus more on preventing unwanted behavior. I am an adult, I am much smarter than my children, I think I can come up with creative ways to get them to listen and teach them right from wrong and how to make good choices. When you have a good parenting style the need for much punishment at all is rare.
