What is it called when you end up somewhere even though it wasn't your goal while other really wanted it & you?

you didn't really care...I belong to a group that has this level of happiness they aim to reach....I never aimed for anything except balance...Yet, I love the group...I do the stuff others do & I see that I am close the level they all want to be at even though I didn't set it as my goal. ...it there a word for that? I am not the resistant achiever...what am I though?
