Is it possible to use a different billing address when buying something online? please help?

well my friend lives in ca and i live in texas and shes getting me a shirt for my bday & she needs to send it straight to me & cant afford to have it sent to her house and then send it to mine, is there a possible chance she can change the billing address to mine & pay for it with her credit card?
